Fijian Cottage Accommodation
A 'bure' is a traditional Fijian home — a self contained cottage made out of palm and bamboo. Our family hand built and recently renovated the 5 bures using local natural resources of reed, native hardwood, and cane.
The owner of Tovu Tovu, Alan Petersen, designed the contemporary resort to please families, couples, and singles. We have many repeat guests. In our bures, you will sleep fitfully open to the peaceful natural environment of Taveuni, and enjoy modern conviences, such as an en suite bathroom, 24 hour power, and hot water as well. » More on our estate history
